ShweFind is a room rental search platform for Myanmar people in Singapore. We connect landlords who post rooms with tenants looking for accommodation. For privacy enquiries: [email protected]

From landlords: listing details (room description, location, price, amenities), contact number or WhatsApp number. From tenants: name (optional, when starting a chat), chat messages. Automatically: IP address and browser/device information (server logs only). We do not set tracking cookies. We use localStorage only for your theme preference — this is not personal data. We do NOT collect: NRIC numbers, passport numbers, financial information, or precise location.

• Landlord contact number — shown to tenants who enquire about the listing • Chat messages — delivered to the landlord or tenant in the conversation • IP / user agent — security monitoring and abuse prevention • Name (chat) — shown to the landlord to identify who is enquiring We do not use your personal data for marketing, advertising, or profiling without your consent.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: • Supabase — database hosting (servers in Singapore region, SOC 2 compliant) • Anthropic (Claude AI) — receives your search query text only (no personal data) to power AI search • Vercel — web hosting, processes HTTP requests and stores access logs for 30 days

• Active listings — until you delete the listing • Inactive listings — deleted 12 months after last activity • Chat messages — deleted 6 months after last activity • Server access logs — 90 days, then automatically deleted

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct any inaccurate personal data • Withdraw consent for us to use your data To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with subject "Data Request". We will respond within 10 business days.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Database access is controlled by Row Level Security. Server-side API keys are never exposed to client-side code. We do not store passwords in plain text.

ShweFind is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be posted on this page. For significant changes, we will add a notice on the platform.
